The orchestra plays on no matter if we ourselves stop for a moment or change direction. Although the tempo may change from the prelude to the nocturne, I am once more enjoying the harmony of a duet since these long past days have been solo.
Hitomi and I have talked about many things and mainly about the feelings we or I endure when we are apart. This has been her fourth time with a touring troupe and although the work is good and consistent and coverage is excellent and it gets her noticed and that of course gets her more offers of work dispels my sad eyed look at her that pleads for her not to keep leaving. Of course the fact that the contacts she made while out touring got me my position and it wasn't so much as an argument between us as much as it was perhaps a release of frustrations.
The outcome of our discussions became a quiet seething, which was totally fake and mainly posturing on both of our parts and then on to the logical dissection of propositions and realizations of what we both needed. It wasn't that I dictate any demands to her but more of what she will do when... And her side of the story is that she loves doing what she's doing and I try to say that is not the issue but...
I'm not even going to say it.
Sentences and arguments do not get finished due to interruptions and neither side says what we wanted to say. It's a presentation that has not been opened and that makes me think it will be opened another time if nothing is resolved in the here and now.
It's maddening.
The talk only started as an analysis of feelings when we are apart and suddenly it seemed like I was trying to chain her here. In her position she has to take the work when it becomes available.
All I wanted to say was that so many times I feel so lonely and the ensuing argument made us feel even worse.
No it's not the end of days and it's not the end of us its just one of those sad moments that even a perfect couple will get once in a while.
There is a silly story circulating about sheep being imported into
Japan and being sold as Poodles!Click this link for a typical example and try using Google to check the story too. It's been reported by various news agencies across the world that some disreputable company imported thousands of sheep to sell as the rare and expensive poodle. One story had a film star appearing on a talk show wondering why her new Poodle wouldn’t bark. Another story had a couple who took their dog to the vet to have its claws trimmed and were told it had hooves instead. This is just some out of hand prank that's playing on the gullibility of those worldwide readers who think we Japanese people are pretty weird and crazy and believe anything.
Anything's possible right?
Ok, we are pretty crazy but we are not dumb. It's more of a fooling you if you believed it rather than us being that stupid.
"Excuse me, my dog eats grass and won't bark!"
As you can see, Hitomi loves her new Poodle!
She calls it 'Dolly'.
Hello Dolly!
No it's not eating grass. It is looking for a bone that it buried last week.

I have finally sent Terutaka a text to say that he can join us for dinner at our restaurant next Friday, he will sit with the two of us, Hitomi and I and he can bring a guest if he wishes.
Now I wonder if Menoko will show her face.
.
When Terutaka comes next week, you can have (Hitomi's) lamb chop for dinner, now you know it's not a poodle.
