Ups and downs

Hitomi has discovered a mutual interest with the girls.
She loves baking cookies and the girls love eating them.
Hitomi and her sister loved baking when they were teens and still do today. Nanako has a passion for baking and quite often we receive some of her tasty treats as welcomed gifts. The other week Hitomi decided in a sisterly competition frame of mind to see if she could appeal to the girl's taste buds as much as their Aunt could. Of course I was interested too because despite the rumors to the contrary, I absolutely adore homemade cakes and cookies. I could easily be confused for a sampling expert.
Rina took the angels swimming while I was finishing off an assignment and Hitomi, who was at home at the time, suddenly decided to pop across to the store to ensure she had all her ingredients and she was going to make her special treats. They came out wonderfully with that alluring aroma.
When the Angels came home and saw Hitomi's homemade cookies she was smothered in grateful hugs of appreciation. The cookies did not last long! Get that baking tray out again my love.

I seem destined to have problems with Blogger.
I have lost my on page administration edit tools and therefore I have to go into my dashboard if I need to edit text or something after publishing. I have also lost some of my readers - I think they'll see the closed door and hopefully they'll contact me and I can know who is locked out and re-invite them.

Google with having servers in many countries is now making its blogspot.com blogs redirect to country specific domains from now on. So if you are in Australia and read me you'll see the address as "http://momo-musings.blogspot.co.au" and if you are in India you'll see "http://momo-musings.blogspot.co.in". I see it as "http://momo-musings.blogspot.co.jp" but I'm reliably informed that you'll all see the same text and images on your own national servers. It's only in the USA that they'll see "http://momo-musings.blogspot.com/" or you can too if you enter "http://momo-musings.blogspot.com/ncr" in your address window. The 'ncr' means 'no country redirect and should allow you to see the content on Google's home server.
All of Google's blogs are being redirected to a country-code top level domains, or "ccTLD" to give it its official acronym. This gives Google a greater flexibility in complying with valid removal requests pursuant to local law. By utilizing ccTLDs, content removals can be managed in each country, which will limit their impact to the smallest number of readers. Content removed due to a specific country’s law will only be removed from the relevant ccTLD.
I know it's had adverse effects within the blog page structure and I know it will affect search engine robots and page rankings. I'll be keeping an eye on things!

The Kasakura building stands close by Ueno station and stands out in contrast to the neighboring buildings and so was eye catching and easy to spot as I turned off the main road heading for my appointment. There were several girls being made over this morning and we all passed pleasantries as the teams of stylists and beauticians brought out the best in us appearance wise.
Note the hair - these styles, not too far removed from my 'spaghetti', are very popular these days.

As the girls finished in the treatment chairs they'd go sit in the waiting area, where I noticed quite a few 'agejo' (あげ嬢 - stylish street fashion known here as 'Little Miss') magazines were lying around. One by one they'd be called into the studio. They were not in there long and so I guessed there were several photographic teams in there but when my turn came after thirty five minutes with the magazines, I saw how incorrectly I had guessed. It was a small cool, functionally bare studio room with one simple plain backdrop, a few free standing lights, one Photographer behind his camera tripod and three or four assistants busying themselves with reflectors and light meters. I was asked to pose with the previous girl, close and friendly was our instruction. Then once she'd been told that she could go I was told to pose happily and give him several body angles but don't take my face too far from front center as he changed lens. I was then given three minutes to change clothes with one girl touching up my hair and makeup as I again stood in front of the backdrop where he took a few more in close up. It was all over within six or seven minutes and as the next girl came in we again did a double 'friendly' set and then I was thanked and I was told that I could leave.
It seemed rushed and I think I was dazed by how it all happened - nothing like anything I'd experienced before, even watching models for JJ magazine, Yoshie productions or even in Hitomi's studios. I'll wait to see how I look come summer.
On Friday morning I'll be doing a shoot for the June issue of Bride magazine. I am so looking forward to that.
