Good days out

Out on a part of the series of motor shows that we have here brings out a lot of truck, car and bike enthusiasts, motor trade journalists, pretty girls and guys with camera's out into the sunlight. The outside shows differ a lot from the indoor arenas. Being exposed to the elements in very skimpy clothing has us dreaming of huddling in the back of the limo under a blanket or in the staff refreshments tent having a hot drink are thoughts when the cool wind blows in the mornings.
Attending the all-day shows on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday is a nice break though from my usual routines, a nice way to earn other than sat at my desk and we have a lovely time and get to see a lot of the girls I've worked with before.

Other than the required 'in house' promotional activity such as giving out information cards and other free items and posing for their cameras in specific locations, we get to move around a little and get to 'be seen' more by the many photo-opportunity cameras out there.

 

The days were from eight in the morning where we'd change, have some hot breakfast and get into makeup before the gates were opened. We'd be handing out promotional material just inside the gates as they came in. T.W's group were out on the platforms dancing to music, attracting the crowds to their stands. We'd be finishing by five thirty in the afternoon with the second shift girls there until eight thirty taking over. I would like to think that after my agency contractual change in November I can still be in the running for events like this one.
