Sadly I did not really look into the matter very well at all and I passed on to them phones of such limited ability but they were still very happy to have them because when they lived with their Father they were not allowed any phone at all. Unfortunately these cheap phones have not lasted well even though the Angels have looked after them very well and they have used them responsibly which means that they've not given me any headaches regarding over-usage and so on Saturday we upgraded the Angels to a decent phone each for them.
We were in MacDonald's having chicken and salad after a little shopping for new sports clothes for them - I know - it is perhaps terrible food but an occasional venture into these places isn't too bad I'm sure.As we left there we called into 'Softbank' across the road and had a good look at everything that they had on offer and we decided, because of their ages, to get them a good phone each but with features that will give me peace of mind as well as a lovely functional phone for them.
We decided on the Toshiba 820T and took two on a 'white children's plan'. This phone lets my phone know where they are (assuming they have their phone with them) and as a parent I could limit any functions like emails & web connection to specific times on specific days but they have shown responsible usage on their old phones and so I choose not to exercise this right. It has a 'I'm lost' panic button which again will alert both Hitomi and I and will guide either of us to them or allow us to call them and guide them to the correct street, not that my children get lost outside (inside department stores is another issue). These phones also have emergency beacons which I like with a loud audible alarm, flashing light (which can be used as a flashlight too) and an automatic direct call to both Hitomi's and my phone sending a map of their location and informing us that it is an emergency.
I took great pains to tell them the story of the little boy who cried wolf but I know that my angels know what is right.
They love the phones because of the camera and the emails and an internet connection including their beloved 'Youtube'. Everyone is happy!

Dearest Momo, Reading this took me back a few years when I first saw your ID in chat. I saw a very young but wise person, wise beyond her age which piqued my thoughts to wonder how deep those waters were. The deeper I delved into this calm the more turbid I found it. Not muddled with the inane or subtly insane thoughts espoused by what I was used to encountering, but a benevolent and thoughtful person who gave of themselves without question or thought of personal gain. I saw a rarity in you that I had only heard about in conversations with others, never knowing one myself of such caliber. Then I met you, a true mortal angel. Your attention to those who sought help and your charitable work with children at that time in your life exceeded that of many with years behind them doing the same. Very few have impressed and amazed me compared to what you have done for others. I thought I was fortunate to have known you, but as the years passed I realized I was not fortunate at all. Momo I was blessed to have met you as have been many others whose life you have touched. I said once that I loved you somewhere between a daughter and a woman. I was wrong. I love you for the wonderful person you are and I hope that you continue to bless my life with your friendship.

April 24, 2012 9:27 AMDear, dear Ron
I am absolutely certain I do not deserve such heaped praise as this. It is extremely kind of you to offer such glowing words but really you paint them to be much bigger and much brighter than I really am.
There are big bright stars out there who do amazing things but I am just happy to be small and barely over the horizon kind of star as long as I am at least in the sky of those who mean most to me.
Thank you Ron
Momo
April 25, 2012 5:00 AMOh Momo, Your modesty is another quality I admire about you. We never see ourselves as others see us and more often than not we see our faults rather than our worth. It is traits like this that set those apart from others. You are a shining star that shines just as bright as those who you claim shines brighter than yourself. Please accept this as I see you and as others also see you. Just ask those two little angels who see you as their star.
Peace be upon you dear friend.
