I managed to get in to see the Kobe collection on its last day, yesterday. It wasn't an official appointment but a borrowed pass from work, who are one of the many sponsors of this event, got me into the non public areas to meet up with a couple of friends who were doing the complete tour. The Kobe collection compared to others is a little on the reserved side and 'Kobe style' being quite unique. Although you get a lot of the major brands showing what they have for us this event always gives chance for the younger designers to give us a taste of what they have when it's difficult for them to finance a fashion show and attract any decent guest list independently. The last day usually pulls a big crowd to see the grand finale's but from my point of view this season's event did not enjoy the success of previous seasons if attendance is any measure. That's not to say it was a wash-out, don't see everything by extremes and learn to look in between. Last year even Shanghai in China got a taste of Kobe Style and filled their stores with our brands. This year the growth is slightly less but it is still there. Let's remain positive about the future.

I have a couple of days to myself now before a heavy end of the week schedule and I make the most of that time by going to the gym and working that tummy of mine. I am also doing some of the domestic tasks that 'Miss-I'm-a-photographer-now' was doing in her free time so she won't feel like I've relegated her to a domestic assistant and part time lover.
Tonight we're finally going to get to see the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire' that did so well at the Oscars and see if all the rave reviews are well founded. My sister who has seen this movie already says it's one of the best she has seen for a long time. Once we leave the temple of doom we shall dance in the streets Bollywood style and go out and eat Indian food.
I'm still not quite happy about the blog page header. The Kitty-chan lilac motorcycle is a little too heavy in both weight and on the eye. I need a feel for something lighter and more... me!
I'll think about it. Any ideas and hints would be gratefully received.
My Last Supper picture has now hit 39 Downloads. Thanks for taking an interest guys (smiles).
I give my love to you all. Take care of yourselves and of course, each other!

March 10, 2009 8:22 AMHey, hey, hey :)
I mean that Hitomi knows best advantages of your body ;) She knows you best so she knows things like that, that's why your pictures are great.
"Slumdog Millionare" sounds interesting, but I don't realy like big production like that, I prefer choose something less popular, less comercial and with less people in cinema, haha. I like looking for unique movies, but "Slumdog..." seems to be quite exceptional story so I hope you will not be dissapointed. Have fun!

March 11, 2009 12:37 AMHmmm...what says Momo...a peach comes to mind. Sweet with a distinctive scent all to itself. Has a beautiful pink flower before it fruits. To me it is a peach, in flavor, scent and the metamorphosis it goes through in its life. Soft when ripe, sweet when eaten and a scent that makes am imprint that you will always recognize.
Later...
Ron
