Miss Mayhem returned shortly after lunch time on a sullen and overcast gray afternoon.
What looked like the potential for rain had everyone carrying an umbrella but none were open to a sky of empty promises. She was one of the last to come through the arrivals gate with each passing moment making me wonder if for some reason she wasn't on this plane at all. I had visions of me demanding passenger lists and camera footage from Bangkok airport and what was that movie where a child disappeared in mid-flight?
Thankfully I didn't need any of that. She appeared ten minutes after the first arrival passed through with her almost legendary tilted smile.
The first thing she said to me was "I am starving!" and she hugged me.
We made our way to a small food outlet as she told me all about her adventures and I took a small envelope out of my bag and placed it on our table.
Jazz has always been a girl of mystery as she walks ghost-like through this Internet world.
Some know this and some know that and for some there seems a conflict.
The aura of intrigue has suited her quite well I believe.
Perhaps she didn't say enough and perhaps she sometimes said too much
Hitomi looked down at the letter and then up at me but said nothing about it at first.
When I wasn't forthcoming she spoke.
"Tell me" she said, "Read it" I replied."
Perhaps her hand shook when she took the paper from the envelope and I watched the emotions across her face as she read it. When did this arrive?" she asked.
"This morning" I said.
Silence followed as we drank our colas.
Don't you just despise movies that seem to end without giving the audience a suitable and satisfactory ending?
I do too although right here I am guilty of the very same thing.
This is where this blog stops.
There are no clues and no definite or indefinite reasons why and sadly no answers to satisfy those with curiosity.
I have been open enough on many things but some must remain private and hidden.
I simply have to go away.
Will Jazz be back?
I would like to think so and I hope so one day and if we imagine that hope is an out-stretched hand in the darkness and the unknowable then perhaps more of us will find something or someone to hold on to.
Never give up and always follow your dreams.

goodluck!!!

September 30, 2009 8:46 AMI see a a dark spot on this fabric we have come to love. A beautiful fabric with the most intriguing design, one that has held a hypnotic magnatism for those who happened upon it and for those who follow it. Like a black hole in the universe it drew stars to it and then pulled them in and you found there was no escape from it's gravitational pull. One was trapped, but trapped because they enjoyed what they had stumbled upon. To view one's dreams, thoughts and life through your words. Like an addictive narcotic you were able to prose such wonderful words and give insight into the life of a very complex person and one we came to admire and cherish with your open frankness and honesty.
Will you be missed? I know I will miss you, but you left a legacy and beautiful memories for us to keep.
I wish you luck on the path you have chosen now and wish you good fortune in all the you do. I know whatever it is you set your mind to you will be very successful and accomplished.
Take care Momo and again, Thank You for sharing with us the more memorable moments in your life.
Ron
